I'm on the road, in search of food — food for my body, food for my mind, food for my soul. I dedicate this blog to peanut butter, my best friend. Food is what we're all about. Cheers!

Eating On The Road

Just got back from a wonderful 3-week trip through parts of California, Oregon, and Washington states! As far as food goes and keeping to my vegetarian macrobiotic diet as much as possible (while still remaining flexible), I'd have to say that the trip was a success.

We carried with us an ice chest and a portable electric rice cooker that is small enough to use in a hotel bathroom if need be. Most of the time, we ate picnic-style in our room or somewhere outside depending on where we were, picking up fresh food in the local grocery stores. At other times, we had lunch or dinner at a restaurant.

Here's a list of some of the places we ate at along the way.
